A publicist or PR person has a demanding and fast-paced career. However if you have the time, energy, and interest, then you may want to read on about how to be a publicist.

A client can get media exposure by working with his or her publicist. They constantly get in touch with the media to have journalists write about their clients, because any media attention increases someone’s popularity and how famous they are. Publicists will work with musicians, professional players in sports, authors and actors. Companies like Random House, Ford or IBM can also be clients.

The best foundation is a good education. Even though there is no qualification or no course you have to complete to be a publicist, it is still a good idea to have a solid education. That means that you will, at least, need a college education. An essential part of being a publicist to being competent in writing press releases. Look into writing, media, journalism, public relations, and business marketing courses at school.

Begin with little jobs. Of course, when you first become a publicist, you usually have to settle for the smaller accounts. Initially, you have to develop some expertise. Start by offering to do the publicity for a local band or new author. Press release writing is something these groups need and something you might try. You’ll have to do things such as drawing up posters, dealing with the media, and taking initiative to spread the news. Getting jobs that are smaller will prepare you for your search for better paying clients and larger jobs (you will probably have to work as a publicist without pay in the beginning. This is alright. It is all part of the procedure of being trained as a publicist.)

Consider applying for an internship in order to gain experience and contacts in the industry. Look for an internship position in a good publishing company and apply as soon as possible. Staying in school is something you can still do. Try your hand at press releases. Make local reporters and journalists your best friends. Becoming an intern for a publicist is a wonderful way to get experience and to increase the possibility of getting a job after graduation, since you will have an edge, experience wise, on your peers. (Meanwhile, be certain that you do the best you can with the internship now, since you don’t know when you will have a chance for full time employment as a publicist in the company that you do your internship.)

Become an internet guru. Every publicist worth his salt knows that a website is the most important component in the success of the account. If you have any clients to promote it is advised that you learn to promote them on the web. Take several classes about what makes websites beautiful, what you can do differently to make them more profitable, and what basic things have to be put on every website. All clients prefer that their publicist possess knowledge of this skill.

Begin your career. To have a career as a publicist you must get some relevant experience or education. Be sure to apply to publicist jobs frequently and try your hardest to ace the interview. Because of the high level of competition you may need to evaluate alternative methods if you want to be a publicist. Until your career takes off, freelance publicity is something you might consider doing. All experiences count when you are beginning your career as a publicist.

Due to the hair and beauty industry becoming an increasingly popular career choice for many, it’s never been more important to do what you can to stand out from the crowd. Competition for jobs in hairdressing can be fierce due to the outstanding level of hairdressing talent found throughout the UK. Whether you’re looking to open your own salon or find a hairdressing job aboard a luxury cruise liner, there are many things every hairdresser can do and services that are available to help you find and secure that dream job.

1. Keep learning.

It’s crucial that you continue to learn new skills not only in preparation of future opportunities but to continue doing your current job to the best of your ability. Styles and the industry change often and its important that you remain up to speed with the latest looks and techniques. Asking colleagues can provide experience based knowledge on everything from effective techniques to customer service.

2. Invest in yourself.

Many stylists choose to attend privately run courses. Courses on a range of hairdressing topics take place at locations across the country held by some of the countries finest hairdressing bodies including L’Oreal, Schwarzkopf and many more. These offer an excellent opportunity to stay in tune with latest trends.

3. Increase your knowledge of the industry.

Having a good knowledge of the whole industry can be hugely beneficial. There is a wealth of knowledge available to hairdressers through magazines and the Internet. Another priceless opportunity is to visit a hairdressing show. Several are run each year in the UK with the most famous being Salon International. Hairdressers and salon owners from around the world can watch demonstrations from leading hairdressers, attend business related seminars and view the latest products available from leading manufacturers. Shows like this provide a massive insight into modern hairdressing from stylist jobs to salon management.

4. Lead the way.

It goes without saying that leading by example can open up many extra opportunities that you may not have expected. Relatively straightforward tasks such as the ability to guide younger stylists with any training or offering suitable suggestions to improve the salons business may lead to employers considering you for alternative roles or future openings.

5. Stand out.

Where possible, hairdressers should take opportunities to stand out and display their hairdressing talent. These opportunities include charity events, hair competitions or hairdressing shows. Not only do these events provide an excellent opportunity for recognition within hairdressing but it is also gives hairdressers the opportunity to meet peers and begin networking.

6. Alternative skills.

It’s worth thinking out of the box a little about different skills that may be a bonus to have under your belt. Hairdressing like many other industries has moved into the 21st century and knowledge of computers skills for example, has become a daily part of a stylist’s job.

7. Take advantage of Salonjobseeker.com.

There are many ways to find exciting new opportunities. Salonjobseeker.com can help make the whole process much easier. Jobseekers can view and apply for the latest hairdressing jobs and can also be alerted when relevant vacancies become available in the future. Users register details about the type of jobs they’re interested in and salon jobseeker brings the opportunities to them. The option to upload a CV also means that hairdressers can be headhunted directly by leading employers. An invaluable free job seeking service available at any stage of your career.

8. A Quality CV.

Whether you are looking to begin you hairdressing career or progress further, one of the most important factors is to get your CV and interviewing technique well prepared. The best cover letters incorporate key words and skills mentioned in the job ad. CV’s should be short and sharp. Be selective about the information you provide, only include the information most relevant for the job you are applying for.

9. Interview preparation.

Following a successful application an interview will be required and a little preparation can help make the process a little easier. Learning a little extra information about the salon before arriving is sure to win points. Remember to dress to match the role, don’t foul mouth previous employers or bring up the salary before the employer – all seemingly obvious hurdles. It’s an excellent idea to bring portfolio of images showcasing your hairdressing experience. They are a great way to demonstrate what you are capable of. Most employers ask for some sort of practical test, do what you do and do it well and don’t do anything too clever or off the wall.

10. Stay motivated.

Regardless of whether you manage to land your dream hairdressing job its important to remain motivated. With the hair and beauty industry growing so rapidly and with such quality there is no shortage of excellent opportunities throughout the UK and the opportunity to open your own salon could come sooner than you think.

Roger is a director of salonjobseeker.com a great hairdressing recruitment website for spa jobs, beauty jobs and jobs in hairdressing.

By: Cassie Stone

Despite a rough economy, Americans are still fueling the $60 billion dollar cosmetology industry, since the desire to look good—and feel good—can’t be quenched. One salon owner says, “We’ve actually seen an increase in clientele asking for facials and massages. People seem to be taking care of themselves even more, now that things are looking a little grim.” People may be cutting back on big ticket items such as automobiles, homes, and travel, but they’re more than willing to reach into their wallets for beauty services that span the spectrum from hair highlights to a trip to the day spa.

While jobs are scarce in many sectors, beauty professionals are still in high demand. More than 1.6 million U.S. workers are employed in the beauty industry, with a hot market for skilled cosmetologists especially on the West Coast, as almost 70 percent of California salon owners say they were unable to find qualified applicants. This means jobs are immediately available for talented salon professionals.

So, with talk of more layoffs and financial uncertainty, it’s enough to make you wonder: Where can you find stability in unstable times? According to career experts, job trend data shows that the cosmetology industry will provide a safe haven for workers, no matter what the economy is doing.

Here are the top 10 reasons to start a recession-proof cosmetology career:

1. Constant Demand: Just as everyone will always need a doctor or teacher, the need for hair stylists, manicurists, and estheticians isn’t going away. Beauticians in fast-growing states in the South and West, such as California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas and Georgia, will have more opportunity than in slower-growth areas in the Midwest and Northeast. In general, cities and suburbs will have more sustained demand than rural areas.

2. Growth of Spas: Once the exclusive retreats of the rich and famous, more and more consumers are embracing the spa lifestyle. For aspiring or current beauty professionals, this means that job opportunities will grow rapidly, especially due to the growth in full-service day spas.

3. Greening of Beauty: The current “green” movement goes far beyond fluorescent light bulbs and recycling. It’s also translating into a solid career choice. Interest in sustainable beauty and fashion equates to a greater demand for highly skilled, licensed beauty professionals who are trained in natural or alternative treatments, such as aromatherapy, body wraps, salt glows, reflexology, and more.

4. Ultra-luxury is Alive: Cosmetology is a business that caters to the wealthy, including movie stars, CEOs, philanthropists, oil magnates, and others. This ultra-rich consumer easily weathers any recession, and continues to spend lavishly on beauty, health, and wellness.

5. Multi-faceted Career: Many cosmetologists are skilled in not just hair styling, coloring and cutting, but also manicures and pedicures; facial treatments; make-up analysis, and much more. This means that income comes not from a single source but highly diverse avenues, ensuring a safety net for salon owners and workers.

6. Baby Boomer Clientele: In a society that values youth and beauty, aging baby boomers –a group of 78 million Americans born between 1946 and 1964—are willing to spend money to get closer to the fountain of youth. Unlike their parents, boomers don’t feel old, but young and vital—and they want their looks to reflect their energy. Even nursing homes offer beauty care, such as hair cuts, shampooing, and coloring for their residents.

7. International Opportunities: Even when the economy is doing poorly in the U.S., other countries may be doing well. With global hospitality companies opening up branches overseas, there are employment opportunities in spas, hotels, and other outlets.

8. Government Ties: Some of the most stable jobs are in the federal government, where layoffs and firings are less than in the private sector. If your salon is located near a military or airbase, government contracting firm, or other government-linked facility, there will be plenty of personnel wanting personal care services.

9. Stress Reducer: Stress is at the center of many illnesses, and regular spa visits can help treat health concerns and act as a preventative measure as well. Whether a soothing massage or body hydration, beauty treatments can pay off huge dividends in tough times.

10. Occupational Outlook: The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that job opportunities for estheticians will grow rapidly through 2016. This means you’ll enjoy job security for years to come—no matter what happens to the economy.

Harbhajan Singh the heart of Indian cricket team was born on the land of golden bird “INDIA “.He was born on third July 1980 in Punjab District in Jalandhar. He has been considered as one of the optimum and top most bowler with the third utmost total of test openings. He was the leading chief who has made a one day international debuts in the early’s of 1998.The man of spirit has been a chief in the eyes of Indian youth.

Bhajji world / Harbhajan Singh biography – Bhajji was the only son of his father,Sardev singh,a great businessman ( owing a ball bearing and valve factory ) followed by five sisters. His father was very keen about his son Bhajji and wanted to become him to a business too but factors of Luck and being desperate to cricket made Bhajji to enter into the world of cricket and no one knew that a day will come where he will be known as the exclusive man among the general public of homeland. The best and closest friends of Harbhajan Singh were Harminder Singh and vivek; I wish I could too add to the list.

Harbhajan Singh career – Initially Harbhajan Singh was being trained as a batsman by one his coach Late Mr. Charanjit Singh Bullar who later breathed his last breath .Due to the premature and unexpected death of his coach, Bhajji again went in the hands of an expert naming Mr.Davindra Arora. Certainly under a skillful expert Bhajji became an optimum player and a supreme bowler among the cast list of Indian cricket team.

During the course of 2006 and into early 2007, Harbhajan Singh had to face a harsh condition. He kept on accretion of wickets by falling but side by side was increasing with his bowling performance. But later he got his consistent and constant position in the mid of 2008 still remained under some controversial businesses. Following the course of the same year Harbhajan Singh was not allowed to enter ICC (Indian cricket council). He was expelled by the International Cricket Council for the reason of genealogically belittling the Andrew Symonds. Although, the court order was ultimately withdrawn, after a great entreaty. Again Bhajji was expelled from Indian premier league for slapping down another great Indian cricket player well known as Sreesanth.

Harbhajan Singh the glory of India’s pride and a crucial player for Indian cricket team might have a great future ahead .Certainly Harbhajan Singh has the potential and sports man spirit to attain the new elevations of achievement unfolding to cricket world OR BHAJJI WORLD.

By: Wynnwith

The dream of piloting an airliner or working as a charter pilot often overlooks the realities of the airline job market. For those who want to experience the wonders of flying an aircraft, it can be humbling to receive licensing and go through schooling only to struggle to find a job. Young professionals, graduates, and those on the verge of choosing their career path need to think about the strength of their dream and their interest in making it a reality and a career. There are a number of factors that can help a potential airline professional strengthen their resolve to make flight part of their career.

One way of evaluating interest and the possibility of flying planes professionally is whether a young professional feels they can live up to the rigorous standards of the industry. The airline industry in all of its glory requires perfect performance by everyone involved in flight, from pilots to mechanics. This perfection can be a tough standard to meet for many professionals but can also be a great challenge for pilots and mechanics looking to keep their edge. As well, government licensing and regulation require annual assessments of health and skills to maintain licensing. Finally, airlines and charter companies alike assess their personnel on a regular basis in order to fulfil legal obligations and ensure an efficient business.

Pilots and other onboard personnel also need to understand the rigors of regular air travel, especially for international flights. Workers with international airlines have to spend a lot of time away from the comforts of home and have to make the hotel room in their destination cities a home away from home. As well, the time spent in air and focused on the job, while regulated by the government, can be strenuous on physical health. Finally, pilots and others often have to keep an eye on the foods that they eat. The tendency for busy airline professionals is to choose unhealthy, fast foods over home cooked meals.

Finally, airline workers need to understand that the industry requires professionals to bide their time. First officers and young pilots earn much lower salaries than their experienced captain counterparts, which requires patience and a consideration for the financial rewards down the road. As well, the competition from new first officers and new graduates throughout the world for every open pilot position makes it an industry that requires considerable thought before entrance.

Tura Satana at IMDb

Tura Satana, born Tura Luna Pascual Yamaguchi July 10, 1938 in Hokkaid?, Japan, is a Japanese-born American actress and former exotic dancer. She is mostly remembered for her role as “Varla” in Russ Meyer’s 1965 cult film, Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!.

Early life

Satana’s father was a silent movie actor of Japanese and Filipino descent, and her mother was a circus performer of American Indian (Cheyenne) and Scots-Irish background. After the end of World War II and a stint in the Manzanar internment camp in Lone Pine, California, she and her family moved to the Westside of Chicago. She developed breasts very early and, despite being an excellent student, was constantly harassed for her figure and Asian heritage. Walking home from school at the age of nine she was gang raped by five men. Her attackers were never prosecuted and it was rumored that the judge had been paid off. This prompted her to learn the martial arts of aikido and karate and, over the next 15 years, track down each rapist and enact revenge. “I made a vow to myself that I would someday, somehow get even with all of them,” she said years later. “They never knew who I was until I told them.”

Because of the rape and the bribed judge, she was sent to reform school as a teenager and became the leader of a gang. In an interview with Psychotronic Video, she said, “We had leather motorcycle jackets, jeans and boots and we kicked butt.” At 13, she was married in Hernando, Mississippi, a short-lived union arranged by her parents and the family of her 17-year-old groom.

Satana then came to Los Angeles at age 13 with a fake ID and tried her hand at blues singing. When that failed, she started modeling as a bathing suit photography model and posed nude for the silent screen comic Harold Lloyd, who did not know she was underage. Lloyd told Satana she should be in films because she was photogenic. While working as a photographic model, Satana contracted makeup poisoning and could not wear any makeup due to the ensuing skin erosions. She returned to Chicago to live with her parents and started dancing. Satana danced at the Club Rendevouz in Calumet City, Illinois, where she was known as Galatea, the Statue that Came to Life. She danced legitimately at first, but was offered a raise to become a stripper. She eventually became a successful exotic dancer, traveling from city to city and working with Rose Le Rose, Maxine Martin The Skyscraper Girl, Tempest Storm, Candy Barr and Stunning Smith the Purple Lady. Satana credits silent film star and 3D photographer Harold Lloyd with giving her the confidence to pursue a career in show business: “I saw myself as an ugly child. Mr. Lloyd said, ‘You have such a symmetrical face, the camera loves your face…you should be seen.”" Because of her dancing, face and figure, she was ultimately voted one of the 10 Best Undressed Burlesque Dancers of the 20th Century by Bill Hanna of Hanna-Barbera.

At 19, Satana got pregnant, but continued dancing for the next eight months, earning a typical weekly salary of about $1,500.

Acting career

During her early career, Satana appeared on television shows such as Burke’s Law, The Girl From U.N.C.L.E., The Greatest Show On Earth, Hawaiian Eye, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.. She also appeared as a dancer in Who’s Been Sleeping in My Bed? with Dean Martin and Elizabeth Montgomery. That same year, she had a cameo as a Parisian prostitute in the musical Irma La Douce with Jack Lemmon and Shirley Maclaine.

After starring in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, Satana worked mainly with cult film director Ted V. Mikels in such films as The Astro-Zombies (1968), The Doll Squad (1974) and Mark of the Astro-Zombies (2002). She has also appeared as herself in various documentaries and TV shows including The Incredibly Strange Film Show (1988), A & E’s documentary called “Cleavage”(2003),Strip de velours (2005) and Sugar Boxx (2007) which is currently in post production and co-stars fellow Russ Meyer alumna Kitten Natividad.

Faster Pussycat! Kill Kill!

Satana’s most noted screen role is Varla in the 1965 film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! – a very aggressive and sexual female character for which she did all of her own stunts and fight scenes.
Plastering is a manual trade and is an ideal career for someone that likes to work with people both inside and outdoors. Plasterers work alone or as part of a team (or gang) and a majority of their work will be plastering walls floors and ceilings.

Solid Plastering- This type of plastering is where the plasterer would apply wet finishes to whatever surface they are working on. They would then apply protective coverings to the surface.

Fibrous Plastering- Using a mixture of plaster and short fibers, the plasterer creates ornamental plasterwork. This might include the creation of ceiling roses, columns and archways.

Dry Lining- This part of the job is for fixing the internal plasterboard or wallboard partitions. To do this, the plasterer fastens them together on a timber or metal frame. They would then be ready of either painting or papering.

A plasterer uses a variety of tools and trowels to apply the plaster they are working with. Those who are working on fibrous plastering would be following a design that was created by an architect or interior designer. There are many different types of jobs a plasterer will be expected to carry out; form a small residential home to large scale buildings. They may also work on repairs and restorations of old buildings and structures.

A plasterer applies the plaster by using many different types of tools, including different sized-trowels, depending on the surface area they are working with. With fibrous plastering, one would follow the designs that have been created by an architect, artist or interior designer. Plasters are requierd both in the domestic property market and also on large scale commercial developments.

Work Environment

Those who choose plastering as a career can expect to work mainly indoors on their jobs. Some may work outside applying decorative exterior finishes. A plasterer may use scaffolds to work high off of the ground. Plastering can be a demanding and physical job. It will require much standing, lifting, bending and reaching. Plasterers sometimes complain of neck, back and shoulder cramps and muscle strains. A plasterer should always use protective coverings for their eyes, nose and mouth, and wear gloves as well. Plastering can cause much dust, and it is imperative to protect ones skin and lungs.

Education and training

Some schools offer technical schools or vocational schools which may or may not offer courses that can help in this field.

Many plasters will learn how to plaster by becoming apprentice for a contractor and learning on the job. Workers can start out as helpers or laborers, and may start out by being what is sometimes known as a “go-fer”. Some employers, if happy with a person’s work, may send them to a vocational school or college classes to further their occupation. A formal way of on the job training is called an apprenticeship.

Employment

Those who choose the career as a plasterer can expect it to be a fast growing one. The job prospect outlook is excellent, as there will always be building and developing underway, making a plasterer a necessary job. A career in the job of a plaster can be profitable, busy and rewarding.

By: Dean Caporella

Private investigation jobs come in all shapes and sizes and is one of the reasons why the P.I. business is proving an attractive alternative for many people disatisfied with their current careers.

Whether performing roles in the corporate sector or tracking down missing persons, there is an element of variety in the private investigation field that is hard to match and it’s this aspect that has seen a large number of people change careers mid-stream and join the growing legion of “super sleuths.” In fact, the options available to prospective P.I.’s are similar to a certain extent to lawyers: specializing in an area of expertise whether it be criminal, fraud, family, divorce, corporate and the list goes on.

The Right P.I. For The Job

In the “old days”, a private investigator was usually a one man operation but in the 21st. century, the profession has entered a new age with larger firms of P.I.’s in operation and within those firms, you’ll find specific investigators specializing in specific roles. For example, corporate investigators will concentrate their efforts within a particular corporation. Corporate fraud is a major issue and employers need to keep a handle on both the external and internal operations of a company.

Legal investigators work closely with law firms and whether the case may be of a penal or civil nature, private investigators will usually “get down and dirty” to sniff out vital pieces of evidence before a case is presented. Celebrity protection is another major area that private investigators are being drawn too while the internet and computer age has opened up a whole new world of investigative possibilities.

Do You Qualify For A Private Investigation Job?

So how difficult is it getting a private investigation job? Job forecasts for the next decade suggest the P.I. business will be one of the fastest growing professions particularly in the western world. Competition for positions will become keener and keener. The beauty of this profession though is that it offers prospects the opportunity to be self employed although it is not suggested going it alone from the get go. Those seeking to run their own businesses are usually advised to gain experience for a year or two working for a larger firm or gaining experience being employed through large corporate networks.

While there are no educational requirements listed yet for private investigators, the fact that people are entering the fold from a wide area of professions means that they are bringing specialized skills acquired from their previous careers. Many have college degrees, some even have university degrees, so it would pay to have some level of formal education. As far as licensing requirements are concerned, these vary from state to state and country to country.

Do Some Self Surveillance First

Be careful not to be attracted to the prospects of a private investigation job for the wrong reasons. Sure, it has been portrayed by Hollywood over the years with a touch of glamour but the truth is, it is a dangerous profession, the work hours can be irregular and unless you possess a certain level of confrontational ability and mental toughness, then it may not be the career for you.

Dean Caporella is a professional broadcaster. Many people are considering a private investigation job. Are you? My successes and failures and the 10 things you must do to insure your success in this arena.

By: Clint Evans

I have been involved in many mlm and direct sales companies over the span of my 9 year career. It has given me a vast insight into the industry. Also, I have learned more about myself and the secret key ingredients to success that so few people learn and even fewer apply.

My experiences have been my greatest teacher though all were preceded by learning from someone already successful at what I currently wanted to do. I hate the idea of “making my own mistakes” when I could just as easily learn from someone else’s. Even still, there have been many spectacular failures along with the successes.

Sometimes you will be ready to receive success, other times you won’t. There may still be a lesson you must learn to be worthy of the success you seek.

The Laundry List of Companies in my past:

-Equinox International (health supplies)

-Amway (roped into a meeting atDenny’s only)

-Excel Communications (phone services)

-Quest International (financial training)

-EXE Series (internet marketing explained)

-Networth USA (real estate training)

-Direct Matches (business networking)

It may seem like I jump From company to company and in hindsight I did. Also, my powers of perception were weak enough to make me susceptible to some scams (12 daily pro being the most glaring). But I regret none of it because you have to be open or nothing happens in your life.

So, over the 9 years of blood, sweat and tears what have I learned you ask? Too many things to tell you in this short article but I will give you the keys so you can avoid my mistakes.

1. Do some due diligence. Don’t beat dead horse so you never have to make a decision. But search “company name scam” or “company name reviews” in your favorite engine. If 1 or 2 bad things or even a few hundred no big deal. If millions, watch out. Also, talk to others already in the company to get there take.

Immediately read the policies and procedures of those companies you are interested in. You want to see if there are any red flags (ongoing recruiting, minimum 4 sales per month, etc.) that can allow the company to steal the check you’ve built. Then make the best decision for you based on the info you have.

Once you decide (quickly but not without relevant info) stand fast to it, resolve never to quit, and GET INTO ACTION.

2. Find a mentor. Go as high up your upline as you need to in locating someone who is achieving the success you desire. This has been my largest realization though it seems obvious. Then make sure to follow AND apply their advice.

3. Find a mastermind group. This can be as easy as getting on your company or team’s training calls. Every good company should provide written, audio, and video training. Or find a couple of people above your level of achievement to exchange ideas with. In person is best, but teleconference will do. Put the ideas into action immediately.

4. Map out where you want to be in 6 months and 1 year from today. As humans our brains are goal-seeking units. Give yourself a target to aim for so you’ll at least know you hit or missed and what to do from there. Be specific with money goals, size of your team, number of leaders you will develop, and skills you will learn.

5. Break down the global list into small, consistent action steps you will take everyday. This will keep you focused (my past nemesis to success) and allow you to know and see how you are going to accomplish them. Huge goals are beyond our understanding and never get done. Many small, simple steps added up allow us to reach those big goals.

6. Have a basic understanding of your compensation plan. You don’t have to know every detail but enough to know what pays you. Different comp plans are better suited to different personality types. Type in “4 personality types” in your favorite search for more info on what you are and the comp plan that best allows your success.

7. Now that you know what activities pay you, suck out those that don’t and spend a higher percentage of your time on those that do. Successful people I have seen spend 80-90% of their WORKING time (play is also important) on money retrieving activity.

8. Know that setbacks will come. The universe will send you tests and challenges. Weather them, stay in the game and focused on your goals, and ride them out.

9. Review and revise along the way. Go to the end of your goals and work backward to figure out what must happen to achieve them. At the end of each month look at what happened and adjust your actions if you are not achieving your written goals.

10. Enjoy the journey and commit to learning along the way. That is what being a leader is all about. Lead from the front and by example and have fun while doing it. You will meet great people along the way so combine high tech with high touch.

These are the main things experience has taught me. You must have some kind of marketing system that generates leads for you. The big boys in the industry use the internet so do what they do.

Remember, you are building your cash flow long-term so don’t think it’s a sprint. Resolve to have a marathoner’s spirit.

The greatest thing about home businesses is that you put out tremendous effort today and the rewards come back to you over and over and over again. There are some scams but the industry is strong and if you ever want financial independence this is the cheapest, best, easiest way to do it.

Traditional businesses and franchises cost hundreds of thousands to start. Most home businesses are less than $1000 to start.

So get up off your butt and start taking the action that will allow you to achieve all the dreams you have for your life. Become your own personal genie and grant yourself unlimited wishes.
